We offer wine tasting tours of wineries in the areas of Cortona, Val D’Orcia, Montepulciano, Montalcino and Chianti. With hundred of wineries in the area, we can easily come up with a full or half day itinerary. The hard part will be which ones to choose!
Being wine lovers ourselves we are very familiar with many of the wines and wineries in the area and have spent the past five years traversing the area to discover them. We take pride in giving intimate tours of local wineries that we highly recommend and enjoy introducing them to new clients.
One of our most requested tours is the half-day winery tour. Imagine spending the afternoon visiting a couple wineries in the area while having a chance to view some of the gorgeous landscape of the Val di Chiana. You will learn about local varieties and methods of making the wine and see the wine operations first hand. In some cases you may hear about it from the winemaker themselves followed by a chance to taste some of their outstanding wines. We usually suggest experiencing both a larger well-known winery in the area producing award winning wines and also a much smaller family run winery where you can share the intimate experience of meeting the actual family who lovingly craft their wines and also have the opportunity to sample their olive oil.

It is best to arrange tours during the week as on weekends many of the wineries are closed. We can also arrange for meals at local trattorias for an addtl. fee.
