General Information
Items Included in Tour Cost:
Individualized adventures vary and the information for each tour will clearly
state what the price includes, but in general the price of each tour
includes transportation, site
fees, and on some programs meal(s) and wine in moderation.
Not Included:
Air transportation, food or beverages (unless stated), personal expenses, tips and individual transportation to and from the meeting point. If
an individual chooses not to participate in some part of the tour, the
cost for activity cannot be refunded. (For example, if a participant
chooses not to wine taste, he/she should not expect to be refunded
for the price of the tasting).
Meeting Point:
Journey to Enlightenment tours is based out of the Cortona, southern Tuscany area. Our normal meeting point is either Piazza Garibaldi or the Camucia train station. Other arrangements can be made and the meeting point will be clearly stated and agreed upon by both parties prior to the tour.
Insurance:
We strongly recommend that you purchase trip
cancellation and delay, loss of luggage and airline ticket
insurances. We also suggest that you carefully review your medical
insurance to determine whether you are adequately covered for any
eventuality while traveling in foreign countries.
Your Responsibilities:
There will be some walking involved during the tours. We request that you be in good
physical condition and able to walk at least a mile. If you have any pre-existing
physical, mental or emotional disability that may require attention
or treatments, you must report them in writing to Journey to Enlightenment prior to the
beginning of the tour. All participants must sign a Participant Release and Waiver of Liability form prior to the trip. Clients are required to act with
respect and responsibility toward other guests, Journey to Enlightenment personnel and property as well as all
corresponding personnel and property at all
times. Journey to Enlightenment reserves the right to require an individual to withdraw
from a tour, or to limit the amount of wine any guest may consume,
without claims or complaints against us. Any expenses caused by
delays or events beyond Journey to Enlightenment's control shall be borne by the
participant.
Reservations & Deposits:

and request a Registration Form. The form may be emailed or faxed to us at 714.242.1404. We require a 50% deposit 60 days
in advance to reserve the day and time requested. Once we receive your deposit, we will
send you a confirmation and detailed trip information. The balance
is due 30 days prior to the start of the program, unless prior arrangements have been made. If the start of
the trip is less than 30 days away, payment in full is required. If
you do not pay the balance of the program fee prior to 30 days, it
may result in the loss of your reservation.
Cancellations and Refunds:
If you cancel your trip 30 days or
more prior to day of the tour, you will receive a refund,
less a $25.00 administration fee. If
you cancel your trip less than 30 days prior to the day of the
tour, you must pay the full trip price. We will make every effort
to fill your spot, and if successful, you would receive a full
refund less a $25.00 administration fee. We reserve the right to
cancel any trip for any reason at any time. In such a case, we will
notify you as soon as that decision is made and you will receive a
full refund of all deposits and payments which will constitute a
full settlement.
Itinerary Changes:
We reserve the right to change your itinerary as necessary. We do our best to keep changes to a minimum,
unforeseen circumstances (for example closures, weather, strikes, acts of God,
dangers, etc.) can happen. You will be notified as soon as possible of any changes to your itinerary.
